Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Monday February 28th 2005
Tiffany circled a job opportunity in the New York Times and placed her pen on the coffee table. She heard footsteps and glanced up to see Vinny walking into the living room.
"Morning Tiffany," he said taking a seat in a chair nearby.
"Good morning Vinny," she said pretending to be watching the nearby TV.
"Looking for a job, huh?" He asked nodding towards the help wanted on the coffee table.
"Yes," she said glancing at him.
"I can help you if you don't find anything."
"I don't think I would want to work with the kind of people you work with Vinny," she said referring to his position in the Mafia.
"Oh, well excuse me," he said bitterly.
"Come on Vinny. Don't be mad. You know what I mean," she said.
"Yeah, I know what you mean. You think I'm in a low class group of people."
"Let's just drop the subject."
"Fine, with me," he said leaning back in the chair and putting his feet on her coffee table.
"I would appreciate you not putting your feet on my coffee table," she said nodding towards his heavy motorcycle boots.
"Man, I can see why you and Skeeter couldn't make it," he said taking his feet off the table.
"Please, let's leave Skeeter out of this. If you're going to be staying in the apartment, then I have to be able to tell you what I don't like."
"Hi Tiffany," Deanna said as she walked into the living room dressed in a sheer nightgown.
"Hi Deanna," Tiffany said feeling her face redden when she noticed Vinny staring at Deanna amorously.
"I hope Big Daddy and I didn't keep you up last night," Deanna said as she took a seat on the sofa beside Tiffany.
"No," Tiffany lied.
"Good then next time we can really let go," Deanna said smiling broadly as she winked at Vinny.
"I could hear the bed moving," Tiffany finally admitted.
"Did you enjoy that?" Vinny asked.
"What? Are you asking me if I enjoyed hearing you?"
"Yeah, did you enjoy it?" he repeated.
"No. It made me sick," Tiffany said disgusted with him.
"I can see why you're having so much trouble in your life Tiffany. You're way too uptight," Vinny said.
"I am not uptight. I'm just telling you that I didn't enjoy hearing the two of you banging Deanna's bed into my wall. That's all I'm saying," Tiffany said getting up and starting towards the kitchen.
"What are you doing?" Vinny asked as he watched her walk past him.
"Making myself some breakfast," Tiffany said turning her nose up at him as she passed.
"You want some Deanna?" Vinny asked.
"Yeah, that would be great. I think I need to eat after all that exercise last night," Deanna said.
"Tiffany bring us something too." Vinny said as he put his feet back up on her coffee table.
