Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Thursday September 25th 2003
Tiffany rushed towards the building on Bleecker Street where the movers were supposed to be unloading her belongings.  She saw two trucks parked at the curb. Her movers, the "Outta Boroughs Moving" truck, was parked away from the curb while another truck with a picture of a woman wearing a skimpy bikini on the side was unloading.
"I'm Tiffany Diamond and I believe my truck was scheduled to unload first," Tiffany said walking towards the truck as they took in boxes covered with pictures of string bikinis on the side.
"Talk to that man over there," they said pointing towards Skeeter.
She glanced to the back of the store and saw Skeeter talking to a young woman in tight jeans.  She walked towards the back of the store and she saw him when he looked up seeing her coming towards them.
"I've got a salesgirl for right now, but I'll get back with you," he said taking the piece of paper that the girl handed him.
"Skeeter I need to talk to you," Tiffany demanded.
"Hey there Baby," Skeeter said smiling broadly as his eyes quickly glanced back towards the young woman's rear as she walked towards the front door to leave.
"My movers are out front to unload and your truck is blocking the way," she said hotly.
"My delivery will be finished in another hour or so Baby," he said waving his arm at the boxes of lingerie stacked up against the walls.
"That won't do. I'm paying by the hour and I can't afford for my guys to sit here and wait."
"What am I suppose to do Tiffany? Have your guys walk a little further. That's all," he said as one of the delivery men dropped a box on the floor and glanced up at him.
"This is the way we're going to start off?  You just take over right away."
"Come on Baby. We don't need to get off to a bad start like this."
"Then let my movers unload now.  I can't afford hours of waiting," she said remembering how she had gone over her budget carefully when she planned the move.
"Okay, I'll see what I can do.  Look just have a seat right here and I'll talk to one of the guys," Skeeter said pointing to a box for her to sit on. He watched as she took a seat on the box that said 'Ladies Thongs' on the side. Skeeter walked a couple of feet to her side and started whispering something to one of the delivery men.  She watched the man shaking his head and glancing back and forth at his watch.  Skeeter reached in his pocket and put something in the big guy's hand. The two men smiled and shook hands and Skeeter walked back towards Tiffany.
"There. I took care of it Baby.  They're going to move the truck and come back later this afternoon.  See I can be a good neighbor," he said smiling.
"Thanks Skeeter.  It's just that I had the budget all figured out to the penny and I couldn't afford for the movers to sit there charging me.  Besides if they get a ticket for being double parked I have to pay that too," she said starting to feel a little better.
"It's not a problem, Baby. I can afford to pay my guys to wait," he said knowing Jan would have to foot the bill. "You look so stressed out Tiffany. Let me get you a drink."
"Oh that's okay," she said.
"No. I have some Cokes right here in the cooler," he said opening the top of the cooler and taking out two drinks.
"I have to tell my movers they can start moving," she said.
"My truckers have already told them.  See?" he said as they both looked towards the front window. They saw Skeeter's truckers backing up and Tiffany's movers pulling into the curb.
"Thanks Skeeter.  I really appreciate this," she said taking the Coke from him.
"No problem Baby.  And if you ever need to borrow a cup of sugar or something, you know where I'll be," he said putting his arm around her shoulder. She smiled at him and laughed slightly.
"Skeeter! What's going on here?" Jan demanded as she slammed the front door and walked towards the back of the store her high heels echoing loudly on the hardwood floors.
