Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Tuesday September 24th 2002
"What are you doing here Starlene?" Stanley asked as he opened the door to his townhouse on the Upper East Side.
"Just came by," Starlene said watching him tie his burgundy silk robe as he held the door open for her to come in.
"Well, come on in," he said motioning for her to enter his living room.
"I thought you told me a business associate came into town and that's why we didn't get together for our regular visit," she said referring to their usual weekly session at his house.
"Well, they did," he said closing the door and watching as she walked into his living room.
"You went to a meeting in your robe Stanley?" she asked eyeing her older wealthy lover suspiciously.
"No. I …the meeting got called off at the last minute," he lied as he remembered the hour he had spent upstairs with Clark's new bride, Nicole.
"Stanley Morgan are you lying to me?" Starlene asked throwing her purse on the sofa and putting her hands on her hips.
"No. Honey. I was all ready for the meeting when I got a call and it was canceled. So I thought what the heck, I'll just sleep in a little late today," he said walking towards her and attempting to kiss her on the cheek.
"Sleep in? You never sleep in Stanley," she said rejecting his attempt to kiss her.
"Well, I was just tired," he said wishing he hadn't given in to the exhaustion after his passionate session with Nicole.
"What are you so tired from Stanley? It's only lunch time!"
"I'm getting older Honey."
"I haven't noticed you being that tired lately."
"Well, you keep me so turned on Honey," he said walking towards the kitchen. "Want some coffee?" he asked pouring himself a cup of cold coffee and turning to look at her.
"No. I didn't come over here for coffee."
"Well, what did you come over here for?"
"You always come to my apartment on Tuesday mornings for our rendezvous," she said following him back into the living room.
"We'll have to make this week up won't we?"
"Let's make it up now," she said unbuttoning her blouse and throwing it on the sofa.
"Now?" he said staring at her voluptuous bosom.
"Why not? You're all rested Stanley. Come on, we'll go upstairs. We haven't done it here in your house in ages," she said starting for the stairs to go up.
"Well, I better call the office first and see if anything has come up," he said stalling for time. He wasn't sure he was up to another heated session this soon after Nicole had left. He also wondered if his bedroom was in order since he had fallen asleep soon after Nicole left this morning.
"You go ahead and call and I'll be upstairs waiting for you honey," she said starting up the stairs.
"Starlene," he said as he watched her take the first few steps on the stairway towards his upstairs bedroom.
"Want to have some breakfast first?"
"No Stanley. I can't wait much longer. You know once a week has never really been enough. You're all rested now. I want to make up for some lost time," she said smiling then walking up the stairs motioning for him to follow her. "Hurry up Honey, I'm ready," she said unzipping her tight jeans as she walked up the steps.
